降低血壓的自然療法 (*英文版)

Naturally Lower Blood Pressure

Dr. Blaylock

Medications that lower blood pressure can come with an array of side effects including severe fatigue, erectile dysfunction, and muscle pain. But there are other ways to lower blood pressure and they don’t require a prescription.

Considerable research has shown that garlic can lower elevated blood pressure and has many other useful properties. It thins the blood slightly, improves blood flow through arteries, prevents and even reverses atherosclerosis, stops arrhythmias, and protects brain cells. Also, as a powerful antioxidant it significantly lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke. It even has strong anti-cancer effects. (For more information on how to protect your heart, see my report "Can Sudden Cardiac Death Be Prevented?"

Aged garlic extract is different in that it is specially aged for up to a year after being extracted and concentrated. It is the most commonly used form of garlic in experimental studies.

Because garlic slightly thins the blood at a level equal to taking one aspirin a day, I would advise not taking it with other blood-thinning medications. It also is important to make sure you are not allergic to garlic before consuming it. The dose is two capsules a day.

The following are recommended supplements and other ways to lower blood pressure that don’t involve a doctor’s prescription:
• Lose weight through exercise and diet.
• Avoid smoking.
• Avoid pesticides and heavy metals. (Lead and cadmium raise blood pressure.)
• Take 2 grams of buffered vitamin C between meals and at bedtime.
• Take mixed antioxidants tocopherols and tocotrienols from the vitamin E family.
• Take curcumin, quercetin, and ellagic acid (pomegranate extract).
• Get eight hours of restful sleep.
• Avoid prolonged, intense stress.
• Every day eat a banana because it is high in potassium, which lowers blood pressure.
• Eat 10 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.
• Avoid sugars, especially high-fructose corn syrup.
• Avoid omega-6 fats.
• Supplement with DHA (1,000 mg a day).
• Take 300 to 600 mg of CoQ10 twice a day.
• Take 500 mg of magnesium citrate/malate twice a day.
